I must say I am feeling a little down.. pity party vent!

As most of you may know, a lot of the elements of my wedding are going to be custom made- particularly my dress and the girls dresses, and also my invites and other paper goods.

My friend that is doing the girls dresses and the invites etc, is still in Greece, where she will be until the end of September, and the seamstress for my dress told me today we would go shopping for materials and such the second week of August.

This puts me kind of at a standstill. I can't even begin to really look for a headpiece or shoes or even jewelry until I have a better idea of what my dress will look like, and I need my friend here to start on things like paper hunting for the invites...

I guess I am just sad that I have nothing tangible in hand to look at- everything is in my head.

then again, it could also be PMS!

at least I have my engagement photos to take next week, something to look forward to.

sorry girls- that's for letting me vent!

aww, Jessica I know how you feel since I still don't have anything booked and I'm even considering becoming a two dress bride.

i felt the same way until I had my bridesmaids dresses picked! Can you do other things like baskets and attendant gifts?

I know how you feel. I am pretty much at a standstil too and it is a little sad. I keep trying to think up little projects to do, but there isn't much I can do until my sister moves up here.
