Gift for Difficult Sister (MOH)

For those of you that have been here for a bit, my sister (MOH) has not been ez to deal with. She is once again in the wedding and has informed me she will be wearing her own jewelry, so therefore I will not get her any as a gift. wedding. What do I get her?.. she religiously goes tanning and enjoys day spa activities.. Should I get her a gift certificate for something like that or is it tacky??

Gift for Difficult Sister (MOH)

Sounds like a perfect gift to me. We give a similar type of gift to my SIL all the time and she loves it. She gave the same to my Mom - a spa day at her salon. Be sure to get the certificate from her usual place, that way you're sure she likes their services.

She should be happy she gets anything from you...after all the crap she put you through. 9 days, wow, how are you holding up???

My Fi and I have been together almost 9 years too, and while his Mom said that the 'upstate' group rarely comes to anything and won't travel in for the wedding, they all told us last July that they would be there and were looking forward to it. We'll know soon if they really mean to follow thru, but I think most will.
