Re: nelson d'leon
hi again,i have another question... i just called them to find out about a hair and makeup trial... nelson is booked for my day but his sister is available... anyone have any input on her?
also... the lady on the phone said i can pay 250 for a consultation with nelson and then another 250 for a makeup trial with the actual sister... or i can just pay 300 for hair and makeup trial together with the sister... which one should i do? also they said the final price with the sister is 800 .... is this crazy?
or is it well worth the money?
thanx, any advice is appreciated :)

Re: nelson d'leon
she looks beautiful, but wait one second....they are charging you $800 for hair and makeup. I'm sorry but I think that is complete insanity. I have seen a lot of other girls who's m/u looks just as good for much less.
I guess if you have the money, pay away, but it just seems outrageous to me. even if I had all that extra cash, I would probably put it into something else.

I agree. I just couldn't justify spending that much on hair and M/U

yeah - it would be such a downer to spend 450 for a trial and then hate it!

IMO Nelson IS worth it and then some...He doesn't need to advertise on any website, his work speaks for itself...Expensive, yes, but after your trial you feel like a million bucks - so who cares you if you just had to pay $300 for the trial!

Re: nelson d'leon
Maybe for those with dispensable incomes, it's worth it!!The most I would spend for day of is $400 max also. And I've done my own makeup and felt like a million bucks, but on my wedding day, I am going to be too nervous, so I am leaving it in the hands of a professional!!!
Now that $125 day of price I got 2 years ago for my brother's wedding sounds like a steal....

Jeez ladies - I guess that the LOL icons at the end of my quote didn't truly relate that I was being sarcastic with the 'feeling like a million bucks' comment...
Let me try it again
