Westbury Manor Brides who had ceremony at WM

We are having a noon ceremony and there is an 11:30 ceremony right before us.

Is there/was there enough time for your florist to decorate the aisle & arch outside before your guests started flooding the area?

Re: Westbury Manor Brides who had ceremony at WM

Hey Peacock! You know I didn't get married yet, but from what they told me they provide the flowers, etc. for the ceremony, which is part of the fee for having it there. We all use the same flowers.

BUT...that is very close in time! I would call and talk to them about that. I cannot imagine getting one ceremony shuffled in and another shuffled out. I think I may have to call too... I know of another bride getting married after me...I should find out her ceremony time...

Re: Westbury Manor Brides who had ceremony at WM

The flowers are already prearranged by Westbury Manor.
The half hour seems tight to me because some of your guests will arrive early, however, I am sure WM will be prepared and probably have your guests wait in another room until it's time. I would trust them. Maybe they'll put them in like a hospitality room or something like that.

??HUH??

I know of the Chapel Garden & the Manor Room... there is no way they're going to do both...that would be distracting two ceremonies going on right next to each other... what other spot is there???? This is news to me?

Re: Westbury Manor Brides who had ceremony at WM

I'm having my florist add some more flowers to the arch...just a few, in addition to using what WM provides. I also want rose petals on the sides of the runner..

Re: Westbury Manor Brides who had ceremony at WM

there must be 2 sites..

there is no way another ceremony starting at 11:30am and mine at 12. PROMPTY. guests start getting seated at 11:30.. sigh, i must call them again..

edit:

sorry guys, apparently, the two ceremonies will take place at the same area. i don't see why they would do that! what if the other ceremony runs late??? what the heck am i supposed to do? have my guests wait? oh, they wiat at the restaurant btw. but still!!!

i've always thought it was two different areas. now, THIS really blows!!!!! they better give themselves enough time to clean up after the first wedding is done!!

This is why I got nervous. I'm just thinking that it's done so often they probably have it down to a science. I'm not going to stress LOL...yeah...right!~!!
