Already went to things remembered and Fortunoffs... anyone buy online?

you may want to check if someone is getting them for you. I got 3 sets of toasting flutes & two of the knife sets!

Funny thing- my sisters are my MOHs- they got the names alittle different then most would. My two best friends (bridesmaids) thought that I would get upset by it. ( But I loved it. IT is very much something my sisters would do.) Anyway- they didnt want me to be upset- so they got the SAME flutes from Things remembered.

IT turns out the other bridesmaid got a different set of flutes.

All are beautiful. Now we will have the two sets of parents toast with us. No big deal.

I just think that it is funny that all 5 of my bridesmaids got us flutes. So be careful- if you buy them, or regsiter...just make sure everyone is aware that this part was taken care of. :)

I registered for mine at fortunoffs and actually just got them from a BM as an engagement gift.

That's so funny! On Saturday I registered for that SAME Vera Wang cake knife set and..on Sunday someone bought it!

i got all this stuff at AC Moore or michaels, with 40% off coupons i wasn't really worried about having super nice ones, and there was other stuff that i wanted people to get me off my registry instead, so i just bought them myself and got a good deal they also have flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillows, too

All I still need is a cake topper, which doesnt need to be fancy schmancy.......so I guess I will check AC Moore to get one.......Thanks for the idea.

ETA: My bridal party bought me my cake/knive set and toasting glasses all embroidered with mine and FH names/initials from Things Remembered....(sorry just saw you went there already)---LOL

Got Tiffany champagne classes from my aunt and uncle.

Got a Vera Wang cake server set from one BM.

Got another engraved cake server set from Things Remembered from another BM.

Got a lenox cake topper from my parents.

My toasting glasses and cake cutting set came from Macy's....from my registry. I don't have a cake topper and I'm not sure yet if we are going to get one.

I received them as gifts from my mom and another relative. You may receive them even if you don't register for them. We have that 'problem' with a cake topper a relative got us that we hate. We're going to display it, but it's not going near the cake

But, registering sounds like a great call too!

The knife set came from Lenox.com and the matching toasting glasses were a gift (I think they came from Fortunoff). I didn't buy a cake topper, although I like one of them from lenox.

I purchased my knife set at Oriental Trading.com! It was a steal and it was engraved to boot!

My toasting flutes were from Tiffany's. My knife and server were Godinger and were ordered from exclusively weddings. I didn't have a cake topper.

Toasting glasses - What ever the champagne glasses are availible from Chateau Briand

Knife set, cake topper, favors, garters and any other useless (well for me, my MOH thinks differently) item that will collect dust in the basement/closet/mom's house will be purchased on Ebay.

I found some great prices and cute stuff at Party City in Hicksville.

For the cake topper, I ordered a Jewish Cake Topper off of the The Knot and I think it came to $35 with shipping
