Sign in books?
Hi , are you girls using sign in books or something different for your guests to sign at the wedding. I was thinking of doing a poster board with a pic of me & FH (probably from our eng party) and then replacing that pic with a pic from our wedding. Any other ideas?TIA

My photographer supplies (for an extra charge) frame (w/our engagement photo) easel, light, and pens.I feel like guests wouldn't even realize that guest books are even there!

Re: Sign in books?
I don't know that I'll do anything - but my friend had a great idea. She had pieces of really vibrant paper, and asked everyone to write a message to her and the groom. We wrote our note as we picked up our table cards, and put the notes into a big fishbowl. Now, she has some of the more meaningful notes framed throughout her house. Really cute idea!ETA - I probably won't do anything....I'll know who was there - I invited them!

Re: Sign in books?
i may do the Polaroid photo guest book. I think that if all the guests actually did it, I would LOVE it - but I am afraid it would be overlooked and be a waste of $$$....

I've seen the signature frame hanging in friend's houses and I think it looks awesome! It's all in taste and how you approach it!
The only time I've seen a photo guestbook actually work was where the bride had her DOC take the photos. The wishbowl seems more 'shower-y' to me.
But again, do what YOU want!!! It's your wedding!!!

Re: Sign in books?
I am creating a book through shutterfly that has pictures of us through out our relationship. Guests will sign around the pictures! This way if no one signs our book, we still have a photo album!

I have the polaroid guest book and my DOC is in charge of that. I plan on looking at them on the plane to the HM!!! I think it's a great momento.

Re: Sign in books?
I bought a cute little sign in book. I think I'll have the DJ mention something at the beginning or end of the reception to remind people to sign the guest book before leaving.

Re: Sign in books?
we are doing the sign-in platter. I just love the idea of it being so useful. They are $100 and once everyone has signed, you cook the plate and wam bam, its good for you to eat off of. Plus, its dishwasher & microwave safe!

Re: Sign in books?
We're going to have a Wish Bowl. Guests can write whatever they want. Then we'll put the pieces of paper in a photo album along with candid shots from the wedding. I think it'll be nice!!

I am going to make a scrapbook out of some of our wedding proofs..so I have the scrapbook and I am going to make the first few pages with our engagement pics and then a few pages for people to sign in on....that way they will be in the final product.
