Picture posting question?

How do you post pictures within the text of a post rather than at the end of the text. I am trying to write my review and want to be able to write about my florist and then post some pics right after it, and then write more about another vendor and post pics. I am not sure if I am being clear, but if anyone can help me that would be great! And if it makes a difference the pics are saved on my hard drive.
