DOC's.... what was you list of things you wanted her to do?
My possible DOC wants me to make up a list of things that I might want her to do so that she can me a quote but I am having a hard time.I would much rather work off a standard list and add on and take off but I guess that's not how she works.

Please post yours thanks!!!:

Re: DOC's.... what was you list of things you wanted her to do?
hmmmm, mine didn't ask me for that but here are some things i would want:double checking w/ all vendors beforehand
coordinating RD (since I'm not having an actual rehersal at the place)
having the 'bridal emergency kit' so i dont have to worry about it
making sure i get all the pics that i want
helping me figure out the timeline for the day
making sure everything i bring to the hall is put out and correct
making sure i re-apply lipstick and that there is none on my teeth
making sure mine and FH's HM luggage makes it out of the limo and into our suite for that night
making sure all vendors have directions right and triple checking the time they are supposed to be there

That sounds like a very odd approach to DOC-ing.My suggestion is to keep looking for another DOC -- you wouldn't want her not to do something on your wedding day because it wasn't on the list you created two years ahead of time!

sorry ... but i was thinking the same thing. unless she's trying to help figure out which package you should purchase. in that case, she should tell you what is included in each one. but go w/ your instinct

Re: DOC's.... what was you list of things you wanted her to do?
I think I know what vendor asked you for a list -- before I booked Rosalie, I spoke with that vendor on the phone and she told me the same thing. To be honest, it kind of turned me off. One of the reasons I loved Rosalie is because she told m she'd take care of things I never even thought of. For example, making sure the few kids I have their (4 nieces and nephews) don't act up (she's even bringing activity books, etc. to keep them busy). She's also in charge of making sure everyone takes their favor (I have more than one). Also, she will be in charge of taking pics of everyone for my polaroid guest book. Things like that.

I think I may have to look into Rosalie also since this dounds great. I am also looking in the DOC Ms. Michel is looking into. She asked us to come up with a list and she will make suggestion based on what we came up with. I must admit I did not like this approach but she is highly recommended on the boards.

Yea.... This is not something I really have time to sit down and do... I would much rather have a ck list and then other things will come to my mind.

Re: DOC's.... what was you list of things you wanted her to do?
You are getting married in 07 how can you possibly narrow down right now what you 'might' want her to do? That is a bit ridiculous. I used Rosalie and when I booked her she gave me a general idea of all she does. Being the crazy anal bride that I was closer to the wedding I had a list of about 50 things I needed her to check and do for me. She created a timeline for me and also included when she was going to complete every item on my list. Rosalie is a winner. Definitely meet with her and see if you click. I am SO glad I used her.

Re: DOC's.... what was you list of things you wanted her to do?
I met with a bunch of different coordinators before I picked mine. Only one, worked off a given list. The others all started by asking me how I envisioned my wedding. Not what I wanted them to do for me, but what I wanted my day to be. After I described my day in substantial detail, we then went over what I said a second time, now including what each could do for me at each step of the way, and what things she does that I didn't mention or think of.Personally I liked that approach. After all me=bride=it's all about me!!!
