Repost - for some 06 shower gift ideas..

For those of you have already had their shower, or those who have just thought about what presents they want....what non-registry items were you given that you love/want?

Everyone keeps asking me what non-registry items I would like and I wish I had a good answer for them....so far I have come up with the following:

Lingerie
Monogrammed Robes
Vera Wang Perfume
Soon to be outfit

Would LOVE more suggestions!!

I really want the pillow cases that say Mrs. and mr. I dont know why- I wont buy them for myself but i would love to get them for my shower

I saw a panty treasury on LIW someone did it for the shower, i am doing it for my MOH shower (i am her MOH too) and I would like to have one for me as well

I gave my friend a gift off her registry and an apron that said 'I Do' with a little pic of a bride on it. She loved it!

i got some lingerie and it really made me uncomfortable...and it was only nightgowns, nothing gross. i haven't even looked at them since my shower. (sorry, mom)

but i don't really think i got anything not on my registry...

my friend DID do a cute thing. she got all purple cleaning supplies and said 'cleaning is more fun when you do it in purple!' loved that!
