Twelth Night Photography? Question about services.

I met with Dom last night and loved his work and his passion for doing what he loves. My only concern with him is that he doesn't have albums or prints of pictures built into the packages. In a way it's kind of nice b/c you are not paying for something way ahead of time but I really have no sense of how much it will end up costing in the end to have albums made. A lot of people end of making their own albums and frankly, I don't have the time or patience to do that. Has anyone booked with him or know someone who used him for his photography service and then created an album with his help? If so, please fill me in on approximate cost and satisfaction?
Thanks!!

Re: Twelth Night Photography? Question about services.

I booked with Dom...he's wonderful! He helps you layout each page for the album and he gives you a list of places online that you can do it, or he can send it to one of his places. He's actually in the process of making it so that he creates the albums himself. He's not really crazy about outsourcing the albums but there are a couple of places that he trusts. You should call him and discuss your concerns. Plus when you think about it, once you create your album and add all the stuff to it, he comes out about the same and compared to some places, cheaper than those who give you packages already.

I've used him.......but still waiting for my pics.......I have no idea how much longer I have to wait for pics to be put on CD......

So, we didnt get to the album layout part yet, but that is fine w/ us, its what we would like to do anyway.....

Did he give you any quotes for albums yet? We kind of ran out of time last night to get into details.

He's great, but when we did ask him about albums, his quotes were just about the same as everyone else would have been.

Re: Twelth Night Photography? Question about services.

I booked with Dom. He told me an album would be b/w $800 & $1000. I am going to make parent albums myself and I will order any large size portraits from him (not sure about the cost for those). The rest I wil just get from shutterfly or snapfish.
