Re-post from 2006 Board(pic)
I really like this look for my bridesmaid dresses but the dress is very expensive. (What I like is the shrug, really). Does anyone know of any similar dresses? Or, is there any way of tying a scarf that would make it drape around the arms like in this dress and so that all of the scarf hangs to the back? Im having a November wedding so the coverup part would be good and it would be pretty on all of my bridesmaids who range from 5'3-6'0. Thanks ladies!!http://www.jordanfashions.com/products.asp?nCatID=2&nProductID=472&nPhotoID=11417

A lot of BM dresses either come with or you have the option to buy a scarf that matches like that. All you need to do is tie it in the back. I have my girls wearing scarves like that, but they're cashmere.

You can order from Phyllis at Gownfind. She's going to save my girls about 75. on their dress, not counting the 375 on mine.

With that dress is it a shrug or is it tied in the back?

Re: Re-post from 2006 Board(pic)
Its a shrug. Thanks everyone--I figured we could try the scarf thing but I was afraid the scarf would be too long....I was thinking of trying gownfind, but the dresses are over $300--so I didnt think she could save us enough money for them to even be reasonable. I kinda thought anything over $200 was a little ridiculous for a bridesmaid dress, no?? Ive only been in one wedding recently and the dresses were from out of state so they were cheaper though so Im not sure.

Do you know what material that shrug is made out of? Is it stretchy? Thanks.
