I can't believe I havent asked this question yet - are any of you getting married for the 1st time, but it's his second marriage?

YES! His 2nd...My 1st.

Honestly...I was concerned at first... I wanted both of us to experience it all for the first time together. According to him, this IS his first time. Everything is so different...so much better.

My 1st, his 2nd. My FH says the same thing, 'I've never married YOU before!' It's so nice when he puts it that way!! But sometimes I wish it really was the 1st for both of us.

Me too. FH has two beautiful daughters from his previous marriage.

I'd don't consider myself the second - just the last and only.

That's the same thing he says especilly since she goy no engagement ring ,a plain wedding band and they went to city hall. He says he doing things the right way this time.

This is DH's second marriage; it is my first.

I was worried that ours wouldn't be as special because he 'did it all before', but he assured me that this has been nothing like the last time.

We are married 8 months and they were separated at 6 months. I still get a little jealous at times, but I remind myself that it doesn't matter who had him first or what he had first; it only matters that I have him LAST.

same here. DH was married for only 6 months the first time. He calls it his detour on his way to me....

My second his first. I don't think my first wedding really counts. I was 18 and ran away to California. It only lasted about year and a half.
