Booked my FLORIST!!!!!!!

Hey Ladies....I'm sure this has been said many times but John at Flower Michele is awesome!!!!! My FH and I fell in love with him and are so grateful for all his help with our little dilemma!!!

We originally had another florist booked, not mentioning any names, and got totally screwed! We will most likely be losing our deposit and not to mention all the stress and aggravation we are going through did not help the situation any!

After going to many different florists we made our choice to go with John and I feel very confident with our decision! He made me and my FH feel very comfortable and at ease with our choices and decisions! I would definitely recommend this vendor to anyone and everyone looking for a florist!!!

Glad to hear that you are happy with John, I hear good things about him! Sorry about your other florist tho (so curious as to who it is)! At least you found John!

I wonder why you won't tell us the name of the florist? the whole point of this chat room is to help other brides.
I have become very suspicious of all the publicity surrounding Flower Michele. The thread is so obviously done by the vendor. I am considering Flower Michele but it makes me doubt if the reviews are truly from Brides and not the vendor.

You are a newbie so I'll fill you in on what I learned on LIWeddings so far...you have to be careful with negative posts, esp if they are a LIWed vendor b/c they get deleted-sometimes the whole thread is removed- this happened to me once on a photographer thread I started. I was told by Ron/Liz that you can post negative reviews but only if that experience was yours to review and something about you having used them for your event...People are full of raves and you have to hunt for less than 'Yay' reviews-you also have to learn to read carefully.

The other thing- the only 1-2 times I suspected a poster they didn't have very many posts on here so in my experience someone with over 1,000 posts is probably legit. Some are just so wowed by their experience they rave...I know I have.

Well, thanks for teaching this newbie. Like I said I plan to book with them bc I did have a good first impression with John from Flower Michele. Coming to LIW has confirmed my decision that I'm making a good choice. But, when I saw the Flower Michele Thread and the photos were not from the catering halls I started to doubt.

another reason she might not be mentioning the name is because LIW, if its had problems with the vendor, they star out the name (****)..so if she HAD posted the name, it might not have shown up regardless. And there's so much publicity surrounding Flower Michele because they do good quality work and they're wonderful people. Also if you're wary of us, you should go read the bride's views, hopefully they can help ease your mind.

This is the second time you accused someone of being a vendor. People promote him because they believe in him and his work. This is what this sounding board is for!

I would just like to say that though we did not book Flower Michele everything the girls say about him is true. He was great and I really don't think he's on here trying to toot his own horn. I saw maybe 6 florists and no one compared to his charisma (except Keyth at Lovin Oven, who we booked!).
Good Luck on searching for your florist girls and congrats on booking John!

The reason for these boards and past brides I'm grateful is to rate good vendors, this eliminates some of us upcoming brides legwork. This helps our BIG DAY go much smoother because it takes the second guessing out of the vendor, if a vendor is not up to par you dont want them ruining your day at least with past brides reviews we can be pointed in the right direction. John's work is IMO is beautiful and his personality is awesome (very important to me).

Again, Past Brides and all ladies on this site with input thanks for the reviews; its greatly appreciated.

ok, ok forgive me. I wasn't looking for people to get upset I only questioned b/c once I put the money down that is it. Just to show that I am not a Flower Michele hater. I will post my Flower Michele Photos this week when I put the deposit down.
