Sending NYC area info to OOT guests...need your creativity/ideas

Hi girls,

This weekend I am going to the NYC visitors center and picking up some brochures, maps, broadway info, etc. for my 50+ oot guests.

Many of my guests will be making a vacation out of my wedding, because it is in NYC. So, I thought it would be nice to send them some useful info.

I don't want to just throw the info in an envelope....what can I do to personalize it and make it special? How can I package it? I am so bad at this stuff...

Thanks in advance girls!

How about you put them all in a folder w/your pics and wedding date on the front?

I can't think of anything creative right now, but if you call/fax the visitor center ahead of time, they will prepare a box for you of various brochures. (I used to do this when I ran events in the city.)

pocketfold baby!!! arrange it in a quasi binder or in a flip-book type of thing...

that way it's organized and not just scattered in an envelope

example:

Re: Sending NYC area info to OOT guests...need your creativity/ideas

would you be willing to do some 'arts and crafts?'

I'm thinking you can do some type of a slit in the front with a metrocard....including your names and date of course....

then the guests can open it up with all the info???

hmmm.....that is a great idea, but is it Alicia-proof? (meaning: can a really non-artsy person do it)?
