For the millionth time...what is the correct order of initials in a monogram?

I don't know why I can't get this through my thick head!

If bride's name is Alice Jones and groom's name is Josh Baylor, what would the 3 letter monogram be for stationary, etc.?

It would be A B J
Bride's 1st initial, shared last initial, groom's 1st initial.
