Stewart Manor Country Club

Just booked the Stewart Manor COuntry Club....just really liked the place and the Banquet Manager gave me the feeling we will be well taken care of... and quite honestly the price was definitely right, the food was good, and I liked that I'll be the only wedding... however, we only left a deposit, so I would be curious to see what people have to say about this place... positives? negatives???

I looked there! And I was just about ready to book it for the SAME DATE that you chose! How weird is that!

I didn't book there because it's so far from my house, I wasn't crazy about the CH room, and I'm DEFINITELY going to need indoor pics. I ended up booking Fox Hollow instead (they have a photo studio).

I LOVED SMCC - James (and Mom June too!) was wonderful...the CPs were pretty (love the high CPs they just recently got in)....the ballroom is absolutely gorgeous...and you can't beat the deal.

I have a feeling you're going to be one HAPPY bride.

Congrats!

Definitely check the BHB or Bride's Review boards and do a search..I've seen SMCC brides on here

Congrats! I checked out the SMCC also... really liked June, and the place was really cozy. We decided to go someplace else, cause their max is something like 220-230 and I'm probably gonna have that many people, and don't want it to be totally full, ya know? But I definitely got the feeling they take good care of you.

I also looked at SMCC. I loved it! To small for me though. When I meet with the BM he said he would not put more then 200 people in the room. My aunt and uncle got married there. One of the best weddings I went to!! They had 180 and I would not put much more then that. You are in good hands!! Congrats!!

Congrats on booking SMCC is once of our 'finalist' we're comparing against:

Fox Hollow
George Washington Manor
Carltun on the Sound

I love the charm of SMCC, we're waiting til after the new year before we commit to a place....

congrats on booking!!! I know I'll feel so relaxed once we're booked!
