stores with plus size MOB dress samples

we went to queen of hearts today. they had a GREAT selection, but the prices were so high! every one my mom tried on was more than my wedding gown! it was nice though because she could actually see how the dresses would look on her as opposed to guessing with a too small sample.

where else can she go? please help!

Despite the negative feedback, my mom is going to try Estelles. A close friend of hers has been very happy with them.

Where is this Queen of Hearts place just out of curiosity?

we tried estelles a few months ago.

queen of heart is on merrick ave in merrick just north of the LIRR

My mother uses Queen of Hearts. I just asked her and she doesn't know of any other specific store for plus sizes, although she got the dress she is currently planning on wearing to my wedding at Lord & Taylor on sale.

i can't believe how expensive these places are!!! every dress costs more than my WEDDING GOWN!!

we went to QOH, estelles and totally you. she loved a dress at totally you but it's almost $600!!! is this normal??

My mom is plus size too and 500+ is around how much I figure she's going to have to pay. Did they have anything under $1000 at QOH?

most of them were under 1000. those prices are CRAZY though! my gown is $500...my mom's dress isn't half as ornate as mine!
