getting married at the crescent beach club! anything i should look out for

i'm getting married aug. 2007 at the crescent beach. i've heard good things so far but i wanted to get some more info. oh yeah i'm also looking for an awesome band. any ideas? thanks!

Great Location! Every wedding I have done there the staff has always been right on top of everything. I found that older folks need a bit more time with the sand and the stairs but I'm sure there will be family looking out for them just as a matter of being considerate. If you are worried check the Bride's Review Board. A big part of things going smoothly is hiring professionals who know what they are doing and then just letting them do their jobs. But if you are really worried a good DOC is worth their weight in gold.

Take lots of pictures. It is truly a beautiful place with lots of class. I've been there for several events and found the staff very professional and accommodating.

Hi Maria,

I was the videographer for awedding there not too long ago, and everything was great. It's a beautiful place and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. There are numerous opportunities for beautiful photos and video shots, including a great sunset. Even though there is a public restaurant located there, you don't really notice it and have the feeling you are the only thing going on.

The Crescent Beach Club is a great place to get married. I'm sure you will want photos taken on the beach and deck areas. My advice is to bring along an extra pair of flat shoes so you can walk on these areas more comfortably. Same advice goes for your bridesmaids.
