Re: Bridal couture of manhasset
I am not sure about their prices and if anyone on here has used them and loved them I am sorry but just wanted to be honest and let you know 2 of my best friends used them and were extremely unhappy. Problems with when the dress came in - came in much later than supposed to. Problems with alterations and what they charged for them. They said the staff was rude and unfriendly. They both really felt strongly about not liking them and not recommending them to anyone. Just thought I should mention so I'm not even going to bother looking there.

Re: Bridal couture of manhasset
I went there -- found them to be very pushy. I had a return appointment at another shop follwing (where i got my dress), and they were badmouthing the store -- Priscilla of Boston -- telling me to just go over now, try on the dress and that i'll be back at them. they also started measuring me as if i was ordering the dress.Afterwards, i got phone calls for two months asking when i wanted to return. i found that annoying since the other vendors picked up on the hint when i didn't return phone calls.
And yes, they are expensive.

I found them nice, but pushy for sales.. for the brides dresses at least.. for the bridesmaids they let us do whatever we wanted and really didn't bother us. When I was trying on a dress they were shoving the phone at me to call me mom to come there since I said I couldnt buy it without her there.

Re: Bridal couture of manhasset
This was the first place I went to when I was looking and I went with my mom and FMIL.... I thought they were very pushy and were not so nice to other brides that were there....they were very nice to me but my mom actually found the sales lady so annoying that when we left she said there was no way I was buying my dress there.... After the fact I heard some really terrible things about the place from my FSIL (something to the effect of they wouldn't give refunds to 9/11 brides)...who knows if its true....

Re: Bridal couture of manhasset
I agree with everyone so far. I found them extremely pushy and rude.... they kept pushing me to buy, even after I told them this was only the second place I had been in to look. I realyl couldnt' afford the $2700 dress they were pushing at me and they said if I didn't buy it that day it would go up to $3500.00 My impression was that unless you're spending a lot of money, they dont' want to deal with you. and frankly, i only liked ONE dress I tried on there... I would stay away.

I bought my gown there (my review is on the Bride's Review Board). My experience was OK, not great and not horrible...but I did love my gown. I didn't look at bridesmaid dresses there though.

Re: Bridal couture of manhasset
My sister used them for her wedding. Every BM was cut to small and we had major problems with them trying to fix it. My sister had problems with them fixing her dress and they were trying to make her settle. She had to go two days before her weddign tolook at material for ehr dress, cause they had brought in the wrong color. Her seamstress was nice, thats about it. A little snooty...

Re: Bridal couture of manhasset
I know that everyone has their opinions and everyone is certainly entitled, but..... I did find my bridesmaid dresses there and so far i have nothing to complain about. They were a tad pushy, but it didn't bother me that much, so in defense so far so good.... They were very helpful and eachtime one of the girls over there left me a message or called me, she was always very pleasant. if youthink they will have something you like the go for it.Welcome New Vendors
