hmm...
MY SHOWER: i LOVED the simplicity and imtmacy of it. it was at my aunts house- only about 25 people...they had it catered with simple sandwiches, pasta salads, that kind of thing.... it was just really simple and laid back and wonderful. i also loved the games they played- one of them was that my sister made ' poppers' for every guest. these are tubes wrapped in pretty wrapping paper with a funny joke/cute qoute, etc about love and marriage inside. before i opened each guests present, they had to open their popper and read what was inside. it really kept people interested and laughing and involved the whole time i was opening gifts. i also LOVED that they did a video with my fiance- they asked him questions about our relationship and videotaped his answer. at the shower, they asked my the questions, i answered and then played his answer on the video... it was so cute to see his espressions while he was trying to remember certain things

MY BACHELERETTE PARTY: again, i liked the simplicty of it. one of my BMs has an apartment in center city philadelphia, so there were about 8 of us who stayed there. she loves to cook and made this amazing spread of mexican food, sangria, etc. we ate and got buzzed there-LOL- and then headed out to the bars downtown, where they had a list of things for me to do like ' dance on a chair', ' ask a strang guy for a condom' ' get a guy to buy you a drink', etc. we had a blast and then went back to her apartment and had a fun old fashioned sleepover and stayed up talking and laughing till all hours... it was just great

ETA: you might want to post this on BHB or the 05 board, too... a lot of the 06 girls haven't had their showers yet....
