new to the board

Hello. I am new to this site and I wanted to know if anyone can recommend any bridal stores (dresses, etc) for myself and bridesmaids. I have heard some horror stories about some of them. Just wanted to know if anyone has had an excellent experiences anywhere on Long Island. Thanks :)

Congrats and Welcome. I got my dress at the Bridal Garden in Bethpage, they were really nice and helpful. So far I have just picked it out and ordered it, that is as far as my review goes for now.

First, welcome and congrats! I got my BM dresses at Bridal Garden and they were fabulous there. I ordered my gown from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and had a great experience as well.

Welcome to LIW!!!!!!!

I ordered my dress from Paradise Bridal in Patchogue and BM dresses from Helen's in Commack. I'd recommend both!

As for your pic, go into My Wedding and click on My Account. Then under Profile Info find where it says Chat Avatar. There you have to Browse for the pic you want, it has to be less than 60KB to fit. HTH!!

Welcome! I bought both my dress & BM dresses at Burton's in Huntington. They don't have a big selection - but they have been great to work with so far. I looked at dresses at RK Bridal & Bridal Garden and looked at BM dresses at the Commack Wedding Center. There are so many places you can go!

I am new too! I ordered my dress from Burton's and I also plan on ordering my bridesmaid dresses there as they will give a discount. They didn't carry my brands in the store but they can pretty much order anything. I went with them because they were the best prices around.

I second the bridal garden. I got BM dresses there for a friends wedding - they are great.
