Re: Laser Hair Removal
Just to let you know, if you haven't started already, it might not be completely gone in time for your wedding. Most places, need a few weeks in between treatments. I did it for my bikini and my underarms. Well worth it. So much more painful in the underarm region then bikini.....would do it again in a heartbeat though! I am going to do the rest of my legs after the wedding, it's nice not having to shave...

Re: Laser Hair Removal
I have gotten a bunch of different areas done. The price depends on the area. There is a great lady in Floral Park. The place is called Smooth Touch. Here is the website:
http://www.marcellekutun.com/
The prices are pretty reasonable and I've had it done at different places (both in NYC and Long Island).
What's nice about her is that the price goes down each time. For example, she charges 100% the first time, 50% the second, 25% the third and then a touch up fee each time thereafter. It's a lot better than places that charge the same price no matter how much hair you have left in the area.
If you have any other questions, FM me. I'm happy to help! Good luck!

Re: Laser Hair Removal
i have been doing it on my underarms for about 13 months now....have my 7th treatment next month and just got it for my mom for christmas....I go to American Laser Centers...they are nationwide and they will guarntee total hair loss...you pay for your body part and you keep going until you have no hair anymore...
when i originally did it i think i paid baout $1K for my underarms but when I just got it for my mom they were running a special so she got it for about 700.... i checked out other places and this was a steal compared...
Of course, legs are more expensiev, face coudl be considerably less...
FM me any specific quetsions but I can tell you that I absolutley love it....I have pretty much no hair anymore :)

As a side note, I've been using her for 10 years for both electrolysis and laser, and she is fabulous. Be careful though, it is addicting!! Soon, you are going to want your entire body (except your head) hair free!!!

Re: Laser Hair Removal
i go for underarms as well....started this past Aug and I can say it has changed my life! I maybe shave once a month now...it's amazing. I go every 6 weeks now - at first it was every 4, then 5. I only pay $50 each time I go. I would hate that pre-pay of thousands up front - that's crazy!I go to Jodi Servetah at All Island Cosmetic Services.
Phone 516-227-3333
700 Stewart Ave
Garden City
When you call you just get an answering service...leave a message for Jodi and she will get back to you! My sisters get everything done by her - bikini, legs, etc...she's great!

i recently had my first treatment at American Laser Centers. it's not really painful and it's the treatment is very quick. i am getting 3 areas done for a very reasonable price. i got them as a package deal. they say the more you get, the better they can do on price.
