rehearsal dinner location near lynbrook, RVC, oceanside, east rockaway, etc

i thought i posted about this months ago but i did a search and came up with nothing.

i need a RD location with a private room in the east rockaway/oceanside/lynbrook/RVC area. the church is in east rockaway.

it needs to be reasonably prices. any ideas ladies???

what about LaParma? They have a nice private room and it is moderately priced (about 35 a person if you wanted to do per head- thats incl open bar and everything I think)

thanks, i just tried them but they're $40 plus tax/tip. that's too much for us. thanks anyway!

I had mine at Angelina's in Lynbrook in their private room. My IL's paid but I think it was around 30 per person (they have different menus with different prices). I originally wanted Sole in Oceanside, but they couldn't accommodate us on a Friday night. I have had other parties there and the range was 25 per person and up. Sole is my favorite, Angelina's was great though. Delicious and plenty of food.

Sole is really good. McArthur Park (in RVC) has a private room and is probably reasonably priced.

i looked up mcarthur park but can't find a phone number. is that spelling correct?

i love angelina's too, but my best friend and MOH had her RD there so i didn't want to copy her.

oh there is also a place in oceanside- of course im drawing a blank here- its right behind pastosa- ugh I cant think of the name!! But i remember their prices wasn't too bad def under 30.

There is also Pancho's Cantina in island park- thats $35 for everything (tax and tip included)

You could try Alias, Smith and Jones in Oceanside or Mother Kellys in Cedarhurst.

My friend had hers in Rockville Centre at the Blue Moon. The food was really good.

I was just also going to recommend Blue Moon. I grew up in RVC so have lots of recommendations in the area:

RVC:

East Rockaway Fishery or Fish House - whatever it's called - it's on the water. Food is delicious!

I grew up in RVC too. Did you go to South Side?
Blue Moon is almost definitely in your budget. The only potential problem with Blue Moon and Dodici is the parking. RVC parking can be pretty difficult on a Friday or Saturday night.

There is a really good restaurant in Oceanside called Sole'. In Rockville Centre there are a couple of good restaurants in town. I don't know the name off hand.

i second Sole....their food was so yummy! I unfortunately moved to Suffolk and don't get out to Oceanside much anymore
