I called 'AGAIN' to see if my dress came in.......UPDATE AT BOTTOM

the lady first told me back in march when i ordered it that it will be in in sept. then that turned into dec. 16. i called a few dayz after that and they said not yet. i called about half hour ago and first she said its not in yet then she said oh wait ups just dropped off some dresses and yes your's is in. then she goes. wait, let me double check and call you back.

why oh why do these places have to drive u nuts. its suppose to be fun, not stressful and aggrevating.

she better call me today with an answer, either way

I just went through this...I really don't understand these bridal shops - they have one job - to get your dress into the shop!!! I completely understand your aggravation...it is completely unprofessional of them.

Sometimes you have to be a *****, and this might be one of those times...if your dress isn't in, I would raise a ruckus.

Oh my goodness!!! That's ridiculous! I would definitely send them a certified letter after they get back to you stating, 'You originally told me my dress woould arrive on X date...blah blah blah. So and So told me on January 17 that my dress will arrive on this date' just to protect yourself. You want to have all of this documented in case they keep blowing you off.

My MOH asked on a whim if her dress was in yesterday when we were at the store and it was! They hadn't even let her know.

You know what annoys me even more. I had called also to find out if my dress was in and it was. Then a few months later (at a different shop) i called to see if my girls dresses were in.. they were. Then i called again a few months later to see if my veil came in and low and behold its in. Ok, when in the world were they gonna call me to let me know that my stuff was in.

Isnt their job to let keep us paying customers informed about our dresses. For godsakes its the most important day of our lifes we are talking about.

I had a similar problem- not as long tho- with my BM dresses- you have plenty of time tho so don't worry! I was getting nervous! My custom hair pins still aren't in tho! As long as it gets here in time I'll be happy!

It's not in, I'd complain but not too much....you don't want to annoy them when they have your dress held hostage! I'm sure that it'll all work out!

the biggest thing that is upsetting me is that when she told me september originally, I went out searching for a veil and tiara. since i wasn't sure of the color i ordered the style of the veil, but they won't make it till my dress came in so i can give them a swatch to match. i bought my veil in august and they keep calling me about the swatch. i feel terrible that i still have no swatch to give them. they won't sell off my veil since they do have a deposit, but i still feel terrible.

I'm still upset that I had to call them, but I don't care, I'm just glad its there. I'm going to head over there tomorrow to try it on and get my swatch

Like you said-at least it is there. I am glad that everything worked out, hopefully there will be no more hassles.
