should I asked my bridesmaids at my engagement party?

I'm confussed! Don't know if I should ask my BM's at my engagement party next month or before the engagement party! I have a nice peom and gift to give them all.. I thought it would be a nice pic for the engagement party (all of them together with their gifts) but what if I offend someone that I didn't ask??

I asked before my engagement party, but doing it at your engagement party is nice, especially if you have a poem to go with it.

Whatever you decide to do would be fine, but I think you should do it at the engagement party.

I went to an engagement party and they asked the wedding party and presented them each with a small gift. It was sweet.

Thanks... I really want to do that! There are 2 girls going though that I am not asking...I already have 7 girls I am asking and thats a thought that was more then enough..I am giving my FH a heart attack now trying to figure out how he is going to match everyone up. I hope I don't offend anyone by not asking.

I think the girls will be flattered that your asking them on such a special day. Have fun. Go for it!!!

I also ask before my engagement party, But this is your party do what you want.

i posted this is the BHB section.. but can't i have all my girls as MOH's.. this is a hard decision for me! grrrrr

If youre set and know that you want these girls to be your BM's then I dont see a reason not to!!!
