Anyone else's FHs NOT DANCING??? Kinda Bummed!

I'm so confused. My FH will not be dancing at our wedding, except for the 1st dance w/me & the Mother/Son dance. I love to dance, and I feel like I won't be spending the majority of the reception with him because of this. did anyone else have this problem?

ME! And he hates taking pictures, too! ugh. I warned my DJ about the 'no dancing' thing for my FH, so hopefully he'll get him up a few times. I FEEL YOUR PAIN!

You could have my problem. My FH is an out-of-control dancer. In all of my friend's wedding videos he is the main attraction. OMG he is such a fool!

I'm teaching him how to dance at home. he has NO rythm. We also practice slow dancing as well. He WILL dance at our wedding.

Mine is doing the first dance - No mother son (neither of them wanted it) - i'm sure we'll do a few more slow dances. I was dissapointed at first but after taking dances and learning i cant dance i have no problem with it anymore.

My FI also refuses, he is so shy, it's cute. He also told me he is nervous about everyone staring at him, I said don't worry, they will be staring at me, not you!

ME TOO... omg my FH will dance no matter where they are playing music EVERY TIME!! LOL most of the time I'm like alright already!!

My DH always says “I’m a horrible” dancer. Yea? So why don’t you learn!

he only danced the slow songs at the wedding. At first I was bummed about it but I danced a LOT with my sisters and friends… it brought me back to our clubbing days and we had such a good time!

he might surprise you on the big day! maybe he will see everyone caught up in the fun and not even realize he's lettin' loose on the dancefloor!

I dont think mine will- he hates dancing and im not going to make him do it if he doesnt feel comfortable doing it

I'm in the same boat as u. After 2 1/2 years of dating I'm just now starting to dance with him at family functions. He'll dance his lil heart out at clubs and parties where there's no family in sight, but at any family function he's overly shy. He's been advised: on our wedding day he better be shaking his a$$

My FH doesn't like to dance either, but he will if forced. I literally had to trap him on the dance floor at WOTY so he wouldn't leave But we'll take dance lessons for our first dance and hopefully we can learn some moves for regular dancing. I also have no problem dragging him onto the dance floor if he's sitting too many out.

Mine! He is doing the first dance and the dance with his mom. I also got him to promise two more dances (I went bowling, which I hate, in exchange for 1 of em).

we are on the same page with this. my FH will only dance one other slow song with me besides the first one and will not dance to any reg music. he'll spend the time at the bar while i'm on the dance. nice huh.

My FH won't dance unless he has a pitcher of beer in him. He got mad at me yesterday, I was talking to a dance instructor, I figured we could take lessons for our first dance. Well the instructor didn't know our song. My FH kept yelling at me just to hang up because if he doesn't know the song he can't help. UGH! I don't see how it would be hard for the man to hear the darn song!

But hes been telling me he doesn't want to dance at all!

Wow I didnt realize there would be so many NON dancing grooms BUT I bet on the day of the wedding they will surprise you. Plus all the peer pressure out there - I bet the crowd gets him 2 dance. I would be so upset if my FI didnt dance because dancing is the best party in my opinion lol but I guess Id just have 2 find another dancing partner.

My FH usually has to drag me out on the dance floor and he's not even a good dancer! I just laugh at him when he's dancing...but he sure does have fun!
