The biggest stiffer of anyone that ever stiffed (IMO)

I work in a very, very small office and one girl and I had become pretty close working over the last year and a half, so of course, she was invited to my bridal shower. I'll called her S. S was a no show; she didn't offer any excuse, so I didn't bother asking but I was okay with that.

Months before my wedding, S knew that she was to cover my position while I was out for two weeks. And S came to my wedding, drank her face off, blah blah blah.

During my honeymoon, while she was supposed to be running the office for me, S quit (the day after my wedding no less) and stopped coming in days before I was due to return. She left the office in such a financial mess that I won't have it back together till Tuesday (I've been cleaning up since Thursday). Fine.

We discovered last night that she didn't even give us a card. Hey, I used to pay you - I know you can afford a card!! Hell, you're a designer - you could have made one!!! ARGH!!

How rude - she couldn't hold out until you got back from honeymoon! That really ***** of her, if I were your company, she wouldn't be getting a good referral from me!

Were you her boss? Could she have had some issues and been secretely waiting for a time for 'pay back'

I was - I was always honest with her about her job performance (which was shaky at best) but I also stood up for her at review time because I knew that she could be good if she just tried. So if she was angry for that, than I guess I got my 'pay back'!

That stinks. She was probably planning to do this to you all along
