MY FSIL had her baby shower, I cant believe all that snow, but we couldnt cancel the shower there were too many things in notion but half the people were able to show up and she had sooooooooooo many presents it was kinda good in way not all showed up she would still be opening presents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But that snow was horrendous!

Re: Wondering how the Blizzard Brides weddings went
My dad got re-married in December 2003, on a day just like last Sunday. I'm telling you it was do or die. The guests still came, the party was still on. They stayed at the hotel until the snow stopped and went on thier honeymoon as planned. Nothing could have ruined that day for them. ( And there were 3 more couples who got married that day too.)

I think that it's great when a RH gives you this option. Some places don't care and will make you have it anyway. I am having a December wedding and am not expecting a blizzard, but I should find out what their policy is, just in case
ETA - Yikes! I just read the post above -- now I'm getting worried!!! It did snow on December 9th last year, but it wasn't heavy
