Rehearsal Dinner Location - Port Washington area

Any recommendations?

I'm thinking Mim's in Roslyn is probably my best bet. I'd like something with a variety of food...not just one ethnicity.

I was actually going to suggest Mim's.... I was thinking about having my RD there, but now I am having my bridal shower there..... good food and atmosphere....

I know Shish kebob is technically one ethnicity, but they do serve steak and fish, but no pasta. And the environment is amazing there!

i had my engagement party at louies - you can have pasta, fish, steak and its on the water

I had my rehearsal dinner at Buongusto in Roslyn- (I got married at St. Peters this summer with Deacon Frank too!)

It's a little outside Port Washington but I highly recommend Nick & Maggies on Union Tpke in New Hyde Park/Floral Park. We had our RD there and it was out of this world. People are still talking about the food.

Louies is great! I have heard nothing but good things about them.

As far as Nick and maggies in NHP, i highly recommend that rest. too!!

There is a new place- Main 415 on Main St in Port. They have a pretty good variety there. I can't say whether it's good or not- haven't been there yet, but I just booked it for a fundraiser my boss is having.
Also- Romantico on Shore Rd in Port is great and Louie's is also a good one as is Shish Kebab. If you want something a little different- Poco Loco in Roslyn has great Mexican!

there's a new place in port that opened up near the soundview theater -- its called the Wreck and they've got a nice private dining area. Food is pretty good, owned by the sample peeps as Cool fish.
