My mom picked out her MOTB Dress

...and it is the same color as what I was looking at for my bridesmaids

This is the first dress my moms liked and she's so excited for it, so I told her to go for it and I'll figure something out



My question is: Is it bad if my mom and bridesmaids are wearing (pretty much) the same color? Or should I go back to the drawing board?

It will be fine! My mom is wearing a dress in the same color as the dress in your picture and my BM are wearing euro taupe!

I think it is fine. It actually looks nice in pictures since all the colors harmonize.

I think the color is fine and the dress is beautiful. My mom's gown is the same color as my BM's. i wanted her to feel like part of my party

That's a beautiful dress!!!! Congrats to your mom!!!!

As for the color, the MOB is usually in something different than the BMs, but as long as you're fine with it then go ahead!!!!

Thanks ladies - I'd still love it if my mom did something a little different. Here is the color I want for my bridesmaids dresses

we wore champagne for my sisters and my mom wore ivory, they were similiar, but i actually thought it looked nicer in the pics

I think its very pretty! And isn't the most important thing that your mom feels beautiful?
Really how many pictures will she be in with the bridesmaids?

I think that dress is gorgeous and i honestly think it will be fine if your mom is in the same/similar color as the BM's. I'd even get your MIL to wear the same color too then.

My mom wore off white to my sister's wedding...so was in same color as bride and it looked awesome in the pics!

Aww...thanks ladies. I agree, I don't think it matters and I'll keep with my game plan of doing a similar color for my bridesmaids.

Your mom'd dress is gawgous. And I don't think its a big deal if she i=has hte sam color as the BM
