WHOS WALKING YOU DOWN THE ISLE????

Help::::::i need advice.....my dad left when i was 5 and hasnt been that big a part in my life.......and ive always been close to my two older brothers, since my mom died i feel like they are all i got...now my plan was to have my brothers walk me half way up the isle and my dad the rest with my brothers behind me.......but im getting the feeling that my dad feels upset and insulted but he wont come out and say it....and i definately dont want drama on my wedding day....what do u think.......

Just my Dad! My parents wouldn't want it any other way, I think my Dad has been waiting for this since I was born.

I'm not close to my Dad, either, I have no brother's so I am walking myself.

My mom...my dad died when I was ten - I will be sobbing like a baby walking down that aisle with her - she is my rock and vice versa

Me four, I have no siblings so it's just the three of us so it makes perfect sense.

ETA, I didn't read your post, just the comment. It makes sense to have your brothers walk you down the aisle. They are your family!

well my dad doesn't deserve the honor of walking me down the isle, never really there for me. I decided to walk down by myself. I feel like I dont need someone to 'give me away' I am giving myself to my FH.

Up until a few days before the wedding, I wasn't sure who was walking me down the aisle. If my father wasn't going to do it then I would have had my grandmother do it.

It's your wedding day... you have to be happy with who is walking you down the aisle.

Both of my parents are walking me down the aisle. You have to choose who is right for you. If you want your brothers to walk you half way and your father to walk you the rest of the way, then do that. Even if it bothers your father a little, I am sure he understands why it is important for you to honor your brothers. Since he hasn't actually complained to you about it I think he is respecting your decision and you won't have to worry about drama.
