July brides and Flowers

Which flowers are you using for bouquet's?

A lof of lowers wilt in the heat and basically I am only hearing that roses are good.

(PS: My girl's dresses are a buttercup / yellowso I am thinking bright pink for them)

I am using ROses and hydrangeas, I have been told that my hydrangea can wilt but we arent going to be outside for long

I am having roses and stephanotis in my bouq.

the girls will have roses lisianthis and some sort of other flower i cant remember

My bouquet will be made up of white gardenias and white stephanotis.

BM bouquets will be jade roses and white calla lillies.

We're using roses, peonies, hydrangea and ranuculous.

I think that wilting will only be a problem if you're going to be outside in the heat for a long time (like if your reception or ceremony are outdoors).

I am using these flowers also. My flowers are going to be in a holder so the flowers have a water source.

They look like this, I am using the silver:

most florists use those as holders under the material and ribbon. it def helps keep the flowers looking great in the heat! ~lacey

orchids - Dendrobium mostly in the BoKs and some Phalaenopsis. FH got me a BoK of Dendrobium for Vday and some of them are still alive (which is a miracle since I haven't even changed the water!)

I love gerber daisies -- i think i'm going to switch my bp boq's to calla's and gerber daisies, i think they will look great..
