Any suggestions on who to use/who NOT to use?

I don't really know who not to use, however I am using Burton's and they are so great to work with! And I love that they give you one set price and you can pick whatever flower you want (and you don't have to pick the flower until about 2 weeks before your affair)!!! I also met with Flower Barn and they were very nice (willing to work with ANY budget), Flowers Michele does amazing work, and Flowers by Brian is also great!

I had a terrible experience with NFW,and others had great experiences with them. Mostly or probably because of money, if you intend on getting roses. I chose John from Flower Michele!! His work is artistic, and not the standard if you ask me. He goes above and beyond everyones expectations. Thats JMO.

I was plesantly surpised by how reasonable Pedestals was and they did a GREAT job for my wedding!! My BM who is getting married in June just booked them after a rinky-dink florist came in WAY higher and didn't even offer her calla lilies in the BM bok and many other extras that Pedestals gave her!

As for who not to use- you can FM me- I know of one florist who was on 'Shame on you' tho I heard brides report that they still had nice flowers from that vendor...I also heard from a few brides I know don't like the attitude of the owner of another florist that I see often here. I recommend that you always look at a vendor for yourself tho and check out the BBB regardless of what you hear here! Reviews are helpful too. Good luck! You have plenty of time!

i was impressed with flower michele's work, john seemed like a great person to work with...

i went with lovin oven floral designs (my hall owns this company and they do other weddings as well and i was floored by their work) keyth is the designer and let me tell you-- he is amazing to work with and he's SO creative. we see him at showcases a lot and FH and I like him so much we want to hang out with him!! lol

my sister is using james cress (who i was going to go with but b/c lovin oven owns my hall and my florist i was able to save a bundle going with them) but james' work is really outstanding and the quality of his work is superb... i've been to a few weddings that used him and the flowers were so gorgeous.

that's pretty much it... i had a very bad experience with a florist that a lot of girls rave about on here (hopefully it was just an isolated incident) but it was BAD so if you or anyone else wants that info then FM me...

There are a lot of really good florists out there. It just takes some time finding the one who can best understand and create your ideas. I used Signature Florist and was thrilled with their work. My sister is using Flower Michele and has had good experiences with them thus far.

I just booked Flowers by Michelle. I met with John, he was the most knowledgeable florist I met with.

We are using Sharon Lange & Associates. She is a vendor on this site and she can work within your budget. Check out her website.

I met with a bunch of florists and I finally decided to book Simply Stems. I love Sandi and her work is just beautiful.

IMO, you have to see who you click with. There are a few highly recommended vendors on here that I met with that I just wasn't overly impressed with. But once I met w/ Sandi, I knew she was the right person for my wedding.

Your best is to do a lot of research on this board, come up with a list of the vendors you want to meet with, and then see who you click with and who is in your budget. FM if you need more info on who I met with.
