Sensitive question about MOB/MOG dresses

I was hoping to maybe get some help here. It's kind of a sensitive request and I in NO MEANS want to offend anyone. My mom is a 'plus size' woman. I know for a fact that she does not want to wear a dress that has a jacket (almost like a suit jacket) - or any jacket for that matter. She does want something with maybe 3/4 sleeves (hopefully sheer material on sleeve).
Are there any brides that can post a pic or FM me pics of MOB/MOG dresses that may have been worn by their 'plus size' mom so I can help her out?

My plus size mom always wears a dress with a jacket. There is a great store called Queen of Hearts that specializes in fancy dresses for plus size women. It is on the south shore.

I didn't post this topic, but thank you for sharing this! I just looked on their website, and it looks great! My mom wants a place that will have sizes that she can TRY on before she orders - along with QUALITY material for the dresses - and this looks PERFECT! Thanks for the info!

I don't have a picture yet but my mom got a great gown at Macy's. Not even in the bridal salon, just the regular dressy dresses.

my mom found a great dress on the sale rack at sugar plums.. sorry no pic but it's beautiful... it has a jacket but she also bought a sheer shawl that they are going to put loops on so it can stay on with her holding it

What does this look like? My grandmother would love sleeves on her dress but this might be an easy alternative.

My mom also is plus sized. She also did not want a jacket, but also did not want sleeveless.

She got a beautiful dress on teh sale rack at Macy's. It had sheer material on the sleeves. Your mom may have better luck at 'regular' stores, i.e. Macy's, Sears, Bloomies, Nordstrom, as opposed to bridal or fancy stores.

My mom's dress is from Caterina. I'm not sure what size they go up to but she wears a 16. I found it for her on the knot mob dresses section. She was also uncomfortable about having her arms completely exposed. The wrap is just sewn into sleeves (sort -of). Phyllis at gown find did a much better job of explaining it.

My mom is 'plus sized' and she wore a one piece dress with sheer sleeves. I'm pretty sure she got it at Sugar Plum or Estelles, I can ask if you want to know.
