NWR...Colonoscopy on Friday

And tomorrow is the prep day...I don't know how I am going to get through the day without eating

Any suggestions??

you'll survive....my advice, just don't be around people eating your favorite food. my mom had a pizza party with my family and i almost lost it. when you eat the chicken broth close your eyes and pretend it's something great

What time do you start all the prep stuff?

Tomorrow when I wake up

.. I can have clear liquids...chicken broth....jello...BUT not RED JELLO...ginger ale and I have to drink some crap I have to buy at the store and other stuff to cleanse my system if you get my drift

I hope that they find something like an ulcer atleast...that is treatable...if not I have to go back to the gyno and see if its endometriosis

The prep part is the worst of it; you will be fine. Definitely stay away from other people who get to eat whatever they want. That is the worst!

i am the biggest baby and i got through it. the prep def is the worst part, make sure someone goes with u b/c u cant drive after it. good luck!

FH just did this today. Yesterday was his prep day and he was a little crabby -- you can drink clear light fruit juices, have chicken broth and lime or lemon Jello. That's what he did so at least he could have something. We were at the hospital at 7:00 a.m., we were home by 9:00. He had general anesthesia and didn't remember a thing. Went fine. So will yours. Don't worry.

Prep is def the worst part! drinking the clear liquids wasn't that bad...but i had to drink some nasty mixture (which i don't think you have to drink anymore be thankful). That drink was the WORST part...I think I had to down a gallon of it (which i didn't, b/c I'm a little girl, no way i was drinking all that). After spending the night in the bathroom the colonoscopy was a breeze!
