Okay, who is good at writing thank you notes?

Okay, who is good at writing thank you notes?

3 people at 3 different addresses chipped in and sent me a blender from my registry for my shower. They can't attend. The shower is the end of the month.

Can I write similar wording for the 3 notes. 'Thank you so much for the blender'. What else can I write? Should I write 'I'm sorry that you cannot attend my shower'? Or does that sound wierd? My shower isn't a surprise, but I'm not planning it. Any examples of what to write?

What I did was this....

Thank you so much for your generous gift of X.
I am already putting it to good use!! (of course I only said this if I actually have used it!) I am sorry that you cannot attend the shower, but I am looking forward to seeing you at the wedding (or sorry you can't make the wedding as well). That was very thoughtful and sweet of you. I would alter them slightly....

Maybe re arrange or re word

Thank you so much for the blender. (Fiancee) and i can't wait to use it. We will be sure to invite you over to test out our smoothies with the new blender.
