Are you serious? How AWESOME!!! I keeplooking at their site, checking dates and stuff. They should totally play on LI! I had my brother and his girlfriend visit me in Fairfax for Easter and we took them to hear them! So cool.

How many DC area LIW girls are there on here?

COOL! I have meant a bunch on here and the knot...many 05ers are down here..... we always wanted to have our own GTG since there are a bunch but it hasn't been able to happen YET!!!

My good friend (from NY) started Gonzo in 1996 so I have been watching them for almost 10 years--it is how I basically met my DH, the guitar player.

Oh congratulations! That is wonderful! One of my coworkers who is a wedding planner in the DC area is getting married at the C. Ballroom on Sept 9 - I should bring her and her fiancee to the Ballroom to hear the band this weekend! Trying to get a group together to go listen to them actually. Funny too - my reply to your post was my very first post on LIW. I have been a 'silent stalker' I guess for a few months now but couldn't resist replying to your plug of Gonzo's Nose!

We're all pretty close by- I'm in Fairfax, too, by way of Bayside (ok, so it's really Queens, not LI!) We should definitely get a LIW GTG down here!

The funny thing is when I posted this I had specific people in mind and it wasn't any of you....there are more DC area people on here than I realized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEP, all 80s covers, with 80s movies in the background and they dress up 80s...they do this twice a year and add another keyboard player, sax player, etc...it's SOOO much fun!!!! Would love to finally meet you!!!
