OMG - MY INVITES... UPDATED BOTTOM

OMG - MY INVITES... UPDATED BOTTOM

My sister (MOH) just opened our wedding invitation (I live with her & left it on the kitchen table) and it was MISSING the response card/envelope.

OMG

They are all sealed with labels with our names on it...I can't possibly check all of them. I would ruin all of the outer envelopes that are addressed. I hope it is only that one. I am freaking out right now. How embarrassing

What would you do if you got a wedding invitation but NO response card/envelope?????

UPDATED -
My step-father's brother works at the post office. We are going there today to mail & hand cancel all the invites. He is going to weight each one for me & if the wieght is less than the others, it is missing the response card/envelope. There are at least 3 left over I hope that this all works out.

Hopefully it was the only one...honestly I'd just think it's an oversight and give you a call to RSVp. Don't stress...it'll be fine

Honestly, I would def think it was just an oversight and would completely not care. I would either call you with my reponse or get in touch with family that could relay the message. People are hardly ever soooooo perfect in their life that they would have a prob with a mistake someone else made, especially one that is so harmless.
Don't stress it! (there are plenty of other things we brides can stress over...pick something else LOL )

Just got back from the post office...my step-dad brought a scale, so we measured all 132 envelopes

All came to 1.3 to 1.4 ounces...then 1 weighed in at 1.1 - of course...no response card/envelope but GUESS WHAT???

It wasn't licked or sealed - it must have just been an over sight. Thank goodness - that should have been the only one & ironically my sister's.

Invites done & awaiting RSVP's.......................
