Re: 30th Birthday Gift for Husband?

How about a flying lesson?!

We looked into doing this for my dad, but then he was in a car accident and unable to fly.

They do them right out of Republic Airport-

I would LOVE a gift like that!!!

Re: 30th Birthday Gift for Husband?

I did the flying lesson for Christmas one year & it was the gift of the year!!!

I also looked into a day of racing (Poconos or upstate NY or CT). I believe it was skip barber racing school. It is quite expensive $400-500. but something he'd never forget. They learn the basics & then actually drive in a racing car, full uniform & do a number of laps.

Good luck.

Re: 30th Birthday Gift for Husband?

What about renting him an exotic car for the day? I'm actually thinking of doing that for my hubby's 30th.

WOW! Great ideas, Flying, I don't think he would be into, I want to see about Gliding and what that is about. The car racing is great idea, but has to be local here somewhere - the renting of exotic car (The Newlyweds )
I will look into it! Thanks everyone, keep the ideas coming

I took DH to the Dayton 500 for his 30th. He is going to the Richard Petty driving experience for our dating anniverasry in June.....he loved them both.
