We're doing the opposite! We're spending 5 nights in Disney...then 7 nights in the Caribbean!!!! Yay!! I'm glad someone else is doing something similar.

We were supposed to be at the Port Orleans Riverside for 4 nights, but it ended up being 7 nights due to Hurricane Frances.

How was Port Orleans? That was one we were considering but booked the Grand Floridian.

Same here. We wanted to stay at the Polynesian, but instead we're going to stay at Port Orleans French Quarters. Just waiting for FH to come home from Iraq so we can book it.

Re: Disney Honeymooners

Beach Club for 5 days, after our RCCL cruise. Beach is a great resort. The staff is really friendly and the theming is like another vacation. (Plus, we got upgraded to a better room!)

We're staying for 6 nights at the Disney's Vacation Club Resort Disney's Beach Club Villas in a one-bedroom villa.... a king sized bed with a jacuzzi was really important to us, and this was one of the few places that offered this. I can't wait!!

Re: Disney Honeymooners

not sure how many days we'll be there cause we're splitting it with either a european cruise (probably northern europe) or a trip to africa (probably south africa.. we're big fans of africa...we're even having an african/safari themed wedding) but regardless we'll be staying at polynesian. its our favorite hotel and the best time to go would be for our honeymoon. its a million times better than the grand floridian. i think the GF is beautiful on the outside but the rooms are gross. just too tacky.
