If you guys haven't seen this already, you really should check out www.freecycle.org

It's a free group online that works through an email chain where people basically swap (for free) various items that they don't want/need. You can post items you want to get rid of, or put out a request for items that you need. You just find your local group (there's one for Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, the city, and all over the country)

Since we're all trying to save up for the wedding (and beyond), and we're probably all going to be getting some truly random gifts that can't be returned and will just gather dust, I think this is a great resource for a lot of us.

A nice side benefit is that it helps to cut down waste and trash by giving your items to those who need them instead of just throwing them out. It's not just things you could sell - it's also stuff like cardboard boxes, etc. You could also find furniture, etc, if you're getting a new place with FH. Basically anything!
