My RB is going to be 6, and is obsessed with tractors. He has every tractor thing imaginable, but I found a silver engraveable bank online. I will probably get him a couple of little toys as well, since the bank is more a sentimental thing for later in life. He'll want something to tear right in to the night of the RD.

i got ours a bunch of trucks... they had this package of them at BJs...

I think that we're going to do this for our RB...he'll be 3 1/2 at the wedding...

Both of ours love trains! It was engraved with the names. The train bank was so much nicer than I thought it looked on the web. You can get it at either theknot or weddingchannel. We also gave them some coloring books and other things to keep them entertained at the reception.

my MOH got my niece a personalized book - it was cool because they insert the kid's name, neighborhood etc. in the book like 'Princess Hope was walking through Queens with her mom and dad etc.'

the same thing for hte RB except his book was about superheros or something

not sure where she got it from - if you cant find it i i will ask her where she got it!

ok this is kind of stinky bc i dont know where you live - she got them at the Queens Center Mall - there is a kiosk by the candy store that has them all the time. . . she doesn't remember the name of the kiosk but maybe you can look in another mall for it - also i am sure if you searched you could find this online

ETA: if you saw my niece's face when she realized that the book was about her - you would get these books for like every little kid you know!

I'm a fan of the chrome choo-choo train piggy banks.... you can get them engraved as well. I'm thinking of filling with candy too & then along with that, a fun little toy or something. Kids are so easy to please! Of course make it special, but dont stress!

good idea! I'm going to do that, too! LOTS of books!!!

I got my gorgeous guy (my Godson... 3 y/o nephew)... a really nice plaque with the A,B,C's of Life on it. He's OBSESSED with the alphabet, and it's engraved on stone, so he'll have it for life. It's the kind of thing that's appropriate for someone from 3 to 93! As soon as I saw it, I snatched it up! It was PERFECT!

I'll probably also get him a game for his V-Smile game.

We got my baby niece 20 months, a personalized book (& other stuff).

Maybe also a pewter bank engraved w/ his name?
