Any wedding parties that I have been in I have had to contribute in some way to the shower. Whether it was to help pay for the shower, or to pay for the favors, decorations, etc., I had to contribute somehow. As far as I knew the girls in your BP help pay for the shower. I know for a fact that my mom will pay a huge part of my shower, but I am sure my girl's will be contributing in some way.
