Donation Favor question

We decided to donate to FH's cousin's memorial scholarship fund at her college....plus the meningitis foundation of America.
We are also doing homemade peanut butter cups in little white boxes (will post photo soon). I want to attach a scroll outlining the donation and how special his cousin was to our family, but FH would prefer to have several framed cards on each table outlining what we've done.
do you think it matters? I'm concerned when people open their favors and see it's only a Peanut butter cup they'll think we were cheap --- unless they look at their framed note on their table. ??

we actually did only one framed note - it was placed by the the placecards during CH and by the signing board and card box during the reception. We had chocolates in a box on the tables. Honestly I thought about doing the frames on each table - too expenive for that many frames, and i didn't want to do the work to put scrolls in each box. If people thought I was cheap then oh well. If they were coming to the wedding to get a favor then well, I don' really have anything to say about that.

We're planning on doing this as well. My friend did it at her wedding and it was very easy to notice.

I think if you put a framed letter on the place card table, everyone will see it. They have to go to the table at some point to get their place card, so I think they have a better chance of seeing it there than on the tables <--JMO.

We are getting donation favor scrolls. My FH plans to fold them and seal them using a monogrammed wax sealing kit. Each person will get one.

we did 1 framed note per table in clear plastic frames.
