Ideas for favors for an Italian bistro themed party??

Anyone have any good ideas for favors for an Italian bistro themed engagement party?? TIA!

How about hand painted vinaigrette (sp?) bottles. They had REALLY nice ones at Wrap With Us in Syosset for a REALLY great price with pictures of wine bottles on them. For the price they had, you can even give two, for oil and vinegar! Or you can give one bottle and give it tied to a small loaf of Italian bread or something to make it cute!

for my BIL surprise 30th we made bottles of seasoned oilive oil....let me tell you ppl lovedddd the idea and still ask if we have anymore left! i can mail you pics of what they looked like!

I was thinking maybe some biscotti in a nicely wrapped box or cellophane bag with a ribbon.

Bottles of REALLY good Aged Balsamic Vinegar
Wine
Fill a slender vase with Homemade Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks and wrap with green, white and red ribbons
Demitasse Spoons with 2 espresso cups
Personalized Packages of coffee/Espresso
Make CDs with classic Italian music
Fill a clear vase/small hurricane with assorted biscotti.

That's all I can think of right now but I think if you're going with an Italian theme - you can't go wrong with anything that is edible.

oh we also made lazy susans that had seperate spots....my dad made them all....anyway we filled them up w. antipast for the CP for each table....it was a cute idea for the theme!

ohhh yea we also has a ballon arch we made

in red,white and green!

we also used red and white checkered table clothes which was a cute added feature....actually target just had them in the dollar spot-not sure if theres any more left!
