online bridal shopping? HELP!!!

Hey ladies,
So I found my dress at paradise bridal. Heard terrible things on here about them...which makes me nervous. But anyhow...my dress there was $100 more expensive then one I found online (same dress). It was on bestbridalprices.com, and I was wondering if anyone ordered from them, or did their dress shopping online.
If I do that will alterations cost more $$? Should I trust it?
Opinions PLEASE!!!!!

I did all my dress shopping online, but purchased mine at a boutique. I would be nervous about purchasing my gown online (it's such an important detail you don't want anything going wrong), not that I've heard anything bad about them. Many times the price of your gown includes 1 or 2 fittings (which can run you up to $500+ otherwise). If it was a few hundred dollars difference then I'd say go for it as long as you know what size you need, then just find a seamstress but for only $100 just buy it from the original store you intended. JMO

I ordered my dress from netbride.com and will be ordering the BM 7 dresses in Jan. from there as well. I already have my dress and saved over 1/2 what the bridal stores were charging me, I would highly recommend them. My mother is doing my alterations.

Bridal Elegance is run by Phillis.... she's in Dix Hills in the Maddaloni shopping center.... I can't find the # right now, but she saved me a TON on mine, too :)

i ordered my dress from netbride and had a really good experience. it came very fast and it was perfect. you just need someone whose good with alterations.

try netbride.com - i got my bm dresses from there - it was great !!! no problem at all. I already had purchased my gown but would have used netbride.com if i didn't

Just be careful. my girlfriend ordered her dress online and the one they sent her first took about 9 months and it was ripped. It was a nightmare she had to send it back but didn't have enough time for them to send her a new one and she had to buy another dress from a sale rack at one of the truck shows sales in NYC and had a tailor fix it. So make sure you order it way in advance or ask and make sure it won't take to long. But online can be definitely affordable.

I had a very good experience with the bridalwarehouse.com I got all of my BM dresses there... Just make sure you go to an alterations place to get your measurements. My alterations only cost me $150 total! Much cheaper than at a boutique.. Any questions FM me!
