Re: wedding planner book
I didn't use a regular wedding planner - I picked up one of those expanding files with the different sections for filing.I have a tab for each vendor/aspect of the wedding. I keep contracts and receipts in it as well as ideas or notes - music choices, centerpiece pictures, etc. Then when I meet with the vendor, I know I have everything with me.
I like it b/c it has an elastic band to close it and that it's letter size files where the sides are closed so little papers & clippings don't fall out.

Re: wedding planner book
we made up a binder with those tab pages that separate sections. one for vendors, honeymoon, etc. you can put folders in there to keep receipts in.

Re: I've got a great one!!!
My planner is great. One half is for all written stuff and the other is a filing system for all your contracts and receipts. It has come in so handy. I got it in Borders down here in North Carolina. I'm sure they have it up there. It was $26.00 and it's called Easy Wedding Workbook and Organizer by Elizabeth & Alex Lluch. Definitely go check it out! Good luck!

I got a free binder when I signed up at theknot.com. Not sure if they still give that out because I got engaged like 2 years ago and had it right after that.

Re: I've got a great one!!!
I got mine as a gift and I love it. I know it was sent from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1887169091/ref=pd_sim_books/102-0671457-0128157
It is a large book with pockets and worksheets. It makes a beautiful gift too. I keep all of my reciepts and ideas in the pockets.
