i watch it......im a reality show junkie, and if you throw any thing wedding related into the mix i am as good as hooked! i dont know what to think of it just yet the couple who got married in florida (david and lauren) his mom was a bit 'clingy'

u think? my fiance and i were debating if david is gay and doesnt know it or if he is a product of his mom...when he was around his friends, he didnt seem as feminine, but the poor boy...his mom is crazy

and it seems like his wife thinks he'll change, but i doubt it. i felt bad for her b/c the mom was so overbearing....hopefully things work out for them,

u think? my fiance and i were debating if david is gay and doesnt know it or if he is a product of his mom...when he was around his friends, he didnt seem as feminine, but the poor boy...his mom is crazy

oh i know! fh and i thought the same thing!!!! its just too weird! although if cameras followed me around i wonder what every one would think

I was totally disturbed by David and Lauren Very strange family dynamic going on with them. I'm still convinced that he is gay.

i hope they all work out, especially b/c they are so young. I look back at my youth and I wouldn't be ready to marry anyone at 18 or 19...i didnt even know who/what I was in my own life, let alone in relation to someone else's

I watch (already addicted) but I have to say....they pick the worst couples for this show. They pick the ones that fit their mold and make their point. There are a lot of couples that get married around this age group who are very mature, finishing school (or graduated), have jobs, are somewhat finacially stable, and whose parents support their marriage completely. Instead...MTV choses the couples who already look like their falling apart, are completely dependant on their parents, are VERY immature, ect. It makes all of us young couples look bad IMO.

you're right.... but i think that's the whole point of the show. i don't think it would be as interesting if everyone was so put together!

I ALWAYS hear how young I am to be getting married... I'm only 22, but I'm also finishing up my last semester of my master's..... so I definitely know what you mean!

But i honestly think that MTV loves to have the drama!

oh its true -- without the 'un-put-together' couples, the show wouldnt even last. Its the drama that makes it. Thats why i still watch it...im a drama w h o r e

he's a total closet case! and yeah, there is something WRONG with his relationship with his mom. um...whose mom (knowing her son is a virgin) actually asks to see the ROOM her son will be losing his virgnity in that nite, and then when she is not allowed to see it...QUESTIONS HIM ABOUT IT!!!!!!

i see how normal bates came to be!

Has anyone ever stop to think that 'Hey, this is MTV, some things HAVE to be editing?' Because 99% of it is.

Yes, I was one of the couples on that show. And yes, we all may be youg, but speaking for myself, I can honestly say my husband and I are more then financially stable. Yes, we're young and immature, but we're not so immature to not realize that marriage is the biggest commitment you can ever make in you life.

People, just please be aware, tha no one is perfect. I'm sure you all are flawed in some ways. Us people who have been on the show reads these things. We're normal people just like you. And yes they did find people who are stable. MTV just didn't feel like sharing that with the rest of America.

I am so addicted!

David and Lauren were something else...and his mom was a trip.

Seriously though--MTV is great at picking the most disfunctional individuals and taping them and doing some creative editing.

I personally though David was gay--um...his bachelor party was very childish.
