FH and I were going to go the Grande for our HM. We heard a lot of great things about it, but it just too much for us and out of our price range.

I've heard that the Grande is the nicest one in St. Lucia. Everyone I know who's gone there has loved it. I'm looking into it also.

I stayed at the Grande last year & visited the Regency & Halcyon during out stay. We thought the Grande has the nicest & biggest pool & beach areas.The restaurants in the other two were nicer but you can just take the shuttle to them. The Regency is on a hill & there is alot of walking to get to the main areas while the Halcyon is the oldest & looks a little run down IMO. I'd recommend the Grande hands down. After checking out all three we were happy we stayed at the Grande. We stayed there on a recommendation from a friend of ours that went there on their honeymoon & loved it !! The Sandals agent told us Grande is the nicest one and his personal favorite! Of course, we booked!!!

We booked the Grande on personal recomendations and the TA said it was the best one when we asked.

the Regency by FAR. There are 9 different restaurants as apposed to 4 and in my opinion the food blew the Halcyon & the Grande out of the water. There was much more of a night life as well, and more of a younger crowd. If u talk to a travel agent i'm sure they'll tell you their opinions on all of them. But the regency is the newest and in my opionion (and it's just my opinion so please no one get offended!) the nicest because of all the variety, things to do, the pools etc. I also know the food has been rated by many brides the best at the regency as well. In any case, the Grande & the Regency are only about a 15minute shuttle away from each other....so u can always hop. Also, the regency is in the Ocean, while the Grande is in more of a Bay. We just got back from the GRANDE and it was the best....it has the best beach and best views from either side of the resort.....I would stay there...you can always go to the regency to eat because there are more places to eat there. I vote for the Grande

I pretty much totally agree with what imas98
has said. The Grande has, by far, the best beach. If you want to golf a lot, you may want to stay at the Regency. I found that since the Grande has less rooms, it was also much less crowded. But, it's your honeymoon - it's going to be amazing wherever you are! :)

We stayed at the Grande but visited both the Regency and the Halycyon. I liked the Grande because of the layout and location, plus neither of us golf. The Grande is the newer of all 3 Sandals on the island. The Regency seemed very spread out. When we went there for dinner, we didn't even realize we were not seeing all of the property-so it seemed small to us. I don't think you can go wrong with either, the service and food will be great wherever you choose.
