For Brides Born at Good Sam./West Islip who have not gotten their Passport yet

Double check your Birth Certificate before applying. The BC I had was issued from Good Sam - that was the only one my parents had. The Gov't will only accept the BC issued from the state, so I have to go down to Town Hall to get the correct one.

I applied in Feb, and I JUST got a letter saying this last Friday.

this is how it is for any hospital - you can't use a hospital issued birth certificate, thats not official, only the one issued by NYS is.
